Who the RB2224 suits
The RB2224 is a large frame — 57mm lens, propionate temples, regular width across the front. Ray-Ban lists it as suiting oval and round face shapes. It is listed as unisex, and sits with the rest of our unisex sunglasses. The only fit test worth trusting is a direct one: hold a pair you already wear beside this frame and compare the numbers stamped inside the temple. If the lens width is close and the bridge matches, the fit will be close too.
Lens and UV protection
The RB2224 ships with a grey gradient glass lens — darker across the top and clearing toward the bottom, so the road ahead stays shaded while the dashboard stays readable. A gradient tint is not polarised. At 14.02% light transmission it is a dark tint made for bright sun and open glare, and still fine for driving. Every lens blocks 100% of UVA and UVB — full UV400 protection.
Size and fit
The size code is 57–20–145: a 57mm lens, a 20mm bridge and 145mm temples. Those three numbers are printed on the inside of the left temple arm on every Ray-Ban, including whatever you are wearing now. Does the RB2224 come with lenses?
Yes. It arrives with Ray-Ban's own grey sun lenses fitted and ready to wear straight out of the box. If you'd rather have your prescription in them, we can do that too — message us on WhatsApp and our team will talk you through the options.
What size is the RB2224?
57–20–145, which is a 57mm lens, 20mm bridge and 145mm temples, a large frame. Check the inside of the temple arm on a pair you already own; the same three numbers are printed there.
Is the RB2224 polarised?
No. These lenses are tinted and carry full UV400 protection, but they are not polarised — and a gradient lens is not the same thing as a polarised one. If glare off road and water is your main concern, message us on WhatsApp and we'll point you at the polarised models we stock.

Changed your mind? Frame orders can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery, and return shipping is free — by courier or at either of our Dehradun boutiques. The item needs to be unused, with its original tags and packaging intact; once it passes inspection, your refund is issued. As prescription lenses are made specifically for you, orders with fitted lenses are final sale.
