The Ray-Ban RX6488I is a rimless square optical frame, shown here in colour 2502: gunmetal grey metal across the front, with black acetate temples and the Ray-Ban logo on the arm. There is no acetate or plastic rim holding the lenses in place, just the metal bridge meeting the lens edges directly. It is part of our Ray-Ban eyeglasses range, and sits with the rest of our square eyeglasses as a minimal, rimless build with a dark contrast through the temples.
Who the RX6488I suits
Metal keeps the front slim and understated, in keeping with the rimless construction, and the narrow fitting with adjustable nosepads lets it sit close on a smaller bridge without needing much adjustment. Ray-Ban lists the shape as flattering on oval, heart and square faces. It is a unisex frame, proportioned for men and women alike.
Lenses and prescription
The RX6488I arrives with clear zero-power demo lenses already fitted, so it is wearable exactly as it comes. If you do need a prescription, it is ready for one: single-vision, progressive, bifocal and blue-cut are all available, with anti-reflective, scratch-resistant and photochromic treatments on top. The item needs to be unused, with its original tags and packaging intact; once it passes inspection, your refund is issued. As prescription lenses are made specifically for you, orders with fitted lenses are final sale.
